If you're a dog parent in Indian River County, finding a trustworthy place for your pup to exercise, socialize, and stay overnight can feel like a search for family. Fortunately, Dog Days of Vero Beach has raised the bar for local pet care with a unique, safety-first approach to daycare, boarding, and spa services.
Located off 29th Street, this facility stands out in the Treasure Coast area for its focus on canine well-being, play group design, and attentive care.
What Makes Dog Days Different?
1. Temperament-Based Pack Grouping
Unlike many traditional daycare centers that separate dogs strictly by size, Dog Days of Vero Beach groups dogs by temperament and energy levels. Before joining group play, every dog undergoes a Temperament Test to assess their social style. This ensures shy pups enjoy calm interactions while high-energy dogs can burn off steam safely with like-minded playmates.
2. Indoor & Outdoor Climate-Controlled Play
Florida weather can switch from scorching heat to sudden rain showers in minutes. The facility offers both outdoor shaded play yards featuring splash pads, pool play, and agility obstacles, as well as indoor climate-controlled play spaces to keep dogs cool and comfortable year-round.
3. Action-Packed Play Schedule
Days at Dog Days aren't just about sitting in a yard. Their team curates structured play activities like:
Fetch sessions and bubble play
Obstacle courses and agility drills
Water play and splash mats
Plenty of belly rubs and individual staff attention
4. Overnights That Feel Like Home
For overnight boarders, the transition from play to rest is seamless. Dogs play during the day with the regular daycare groups and transition to cozy, supervised nighttime accommodations, giving owners complete peace of mind while away.
